Ruth Ann Nylen, Founder and President
Ruth Ann Nylen is the Founder and President of Really Good News Ministries. She has earned a BS in Pharmacy from South Dakota State University, an MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kansas, and an Advanced Diploma in Theology from Life Christian University.
The Testimony of My Call
"I was saved at the age of 9 by God's grace, yet I wasn't discipled and didn't grow up in Christ for many years. In 1995, after 14 years in the pharmaceutical clinical research industry, the Lord led me to start a training business in clinical research. Over these past 12 years, God has continued to mold me more and more into His image and carried me through the thick and thin of life. I began serving in my local church with more and more intention and purpose.
On Good Friday 2005, while fasting and sitting silently in an evening Service of Darkness, I heard God speak the words "YOU PREACH" in a thundering voice in my spirit. Words can not explain or describe what happened in me at that moment. I knew that my life would never be the same again, yet I had no idea how to get from where I was to where God was calling me, nor did I really know where He was calling me. I prayed for 6 weeks, never telling another soul.
Finally, I enrolled at Life Christian University where I continue to study for an advanced degree. And, of course, as God is always faithful to His Word, once I got moving, He began to steer me in the direction and onto the path He has for me with Really Good News Ministries. Once God spoke to me to start Really Good News Ministries, He began to download and fill me with seminars to teach and books to write.
I have reached a place of peace and perspective in my life that is an unending and daily pursuit of ever-increasing relationship and victory in Christ. I don't know where God is taking me or Really Good News Ministries, but I know who is taking me there and in Him, I choose to trust with all of my tomorrows.
My prayer is that God will be glorified as I fulfill His call today and share the teachings He has given me with you."
